Hi to all,
Good day. I am in need of help badly. My company have just give us guidelines for MSSQL secuirity hardening, part of it is to use a "WINDOWS LOCAL ACCOUNT THAT IS NOT A MEMBER OF ADMINISTRATOR GROUP" to run the SQL server agent service. As I change the current settings and apply the new local windows acoount using enterprise manager so that all the necessary priviledge for registry, folders and local policy are automatically granted, the sql server agent service failed to start up. Based in microsofts article in this link http://www.microsoft.c om/sql/prodinfo/previousversion s/securingsqlserv er.mspx it should work fine but I have a negative result.
Does anyone out there know what am I missing to start the SQL server agent service successfully?
Thank you in advance for your help.
