SQL Server Analysis Services

Hi All,

When I try to run the SQL Server Analysis Server, I get the following
error:

"Cannot Open Connection to Analysis Server <server name>.Network error
(during operation)".

I have not had any luck with SQL Server Books online with this issue.

Would really appreciate any help leading to resolving this issue.

Re: SQL Server Analysis Services

Make sure you install service pack 3a for SQL and MSAS. You can find
those here:

http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.asp

Read the page, there are 3 files, one for each component. Install rthe
ones for SQL and MSAS. After that, it will probably run fine. Good
