    SQLAGENT.exe - Entry Point Not Found

    Hi there;

    I was trying to apply SQL SP3a on my windows 2000 server (SP4), but
    the installation failed and when I rebooted my server the SQL agent
    failed to start and I get the following error:
    SQLAGENT.exe - Entry Point Not Found
    the procedure entry point SFMapi0GetProfi les could not be located in
    the dynamic link library SEMMAP.dll

    Now, I tried replying SQLSP3a, but that keeps on failing and I keep
    getting this error message.

    Any Idea .. Please help me.

      Hi

      This may be corruption of your MAPI client. You could try re-installing
      outlook or whatever method was used to install it.

      You may also want to log in as the agent account and see if you can open
      outlook on that profile.
