Hi,
I have implemented Snapshot replication on my database server. The
publisher, distributor and the subscriber are in the same machine.
There is a database 'X' that gets replicated every night to database
'Reportdb' on the same machine.
The snapshot agent is scheduled to run every night at 10pm on all
weekdays except sunday.
The distribution agent is scheduled to run every night at 10:30pm on
all weekdays except sunday.
The replication happened on all days monday thru saturday. Since
replication did not happen on sunday, the job that is supposed to run
the distribution agent had got deleted.
Now I am forced to create a fresh new subscription. I don't know what
is happening.
Btw, does "Expired subscription clean up" job remove the distribution
agent? Can I go ahead disabling it? Is there any other workaround?
Please help.
thanks,
Sridhar
