    SQL Server "Light"

    Hi,
Does anyone know anything about a "light" version of SQL Server?
My Company is looking at buying a SQL Server. I was told MS had just come out with a light version that would be cheap, but I don't know how useful it would be. Any insight into this matter?

    Thanks
    -David

I think the Express edition is what I was looking for. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I'm going to write a program in vb.net using visual studio 2005. This program will be used by about 2 dozen or so users, but at 2 different sites. They will be connected over a WAN.
Can the Express edition support this scenario?
