    Reporting Services

I am looking for informaton about Reporting Services, in particular how
to change the datasource, username and password for a report
programmically. Right now, I can only get it to work after changing the
file once it has been deployed to the server. For the amount of reports
that need to be created, this is impractical. Any pointers?

The short answer appears to be that you can't:

But it seems to be a common question, and there have been some solutions
    discussed in microsoft.publi c.sqlserver.rep ortingsvcs:

This is actually similar to what I am doing. Different reports for each environment.

Unfortunately, my ISP does not offer this newsgroup.

      Thanks.

The link Simon posted was thru Google Groups. You shouldn't need a
newsreader/server to view the newsgroup thru Google Groups.

        Thx,

Yes, I know. But it would be nice if I could post as well.

But it offerss microsoft.publi c.sqlserver.mis c which is defunct.

Anyway, you can tune into msnews.microsof t.com to get access to
            all mirosoft.public .* newsgroups.
