    Replication(Publisher-Distributer Problem)

    This is the first time that I am trying to implement replication. I
    came across with a problem while I was creating my publisher and
    distributer. I want to create the publisher and the distributer at the
    same machine however I got this error

    " SQL Server Agent on <machine name> currently uses the system account,
    which causes replication between servers to fail. In the fallowing
    dialog box, specify another account for the Service start up account"

    If I skip this error does it cause any problem? or how can I fix this
    problem? If I give different login and password does the Service start
    up create any abnormality in the Database?
    If someone can help me I really appreciate it?

          Thank you for the useful websites however non of these websites give
          me any clue about the problem that I have faced. If you or someone can
          explain me about the problem that I got at the begining of the
          publisher implementation I would be happy.

              I realized that the problem that I have posted was for the specific
              machine I have tried in a different machine it worked. However , what
              is the point of creating merge replication? Merge Replication supposed
              to be off line but , if I leave the netwrok I lose the conncetion with
              the replicated database, Am I doing something wrong or thats the way it
              is? I created pull subscription, Does Client machine have to be a
              server achine too? The reason that I am asking the only way to see
              server to create a Server Registration from a client, I cannot create
              my Server Registration because SQL 2000 has the client version on the
              client machine, Is there any way to solve this porblem?
