Which domain extension will be the best to register. I am going to register a domain but the domain i decided to take is already taken in .com but it is available in .org and .net so could i go for it or search relevant domain in.com only?.

A the domain name should be related to the business,easy to remember with not much hyphens.If it has a commonly accepted TLD like .com then it would be more advantageous.
So,if you can change your website name with TLD .com it would be a better option.If not, I suggest you to prefer .org or .net TLD's.Last edited by Niheel; Apr 23 '13, 10:20 AM. -
Hello, I am new on these forums but I hope I can learn from you guys and share my expertise as well.
As for the domains, I would go with .com Whatever people may say about .net and .org, those two dudes are not even close to .com authority for Google. I had a similar question a while ago when I ordered an application development from one comapany (I found it here) and so after they made it, I decided to build a site around the app. I was checking many domain names and also the competitors of the app and what I found was that all the high-ranked sites for my keywords were in the .com zone.
