I wrote the program, I want to promote it, where can I do it?

I create a program - I want to promote it and get some feadback from potential user. Where and how can I perform this?

I do not sure is it possible to write such information here - cause this is announcement about the program, at least currently it is freeware - so this is just for glory :

You could try freshmeat, or Google AdWords or just posting it somewhere for your target audience to look at.

why you delete reference :) i here not only for you but also for myselt - as i think the topik should be usefull for all of us - not only for you :)
the program is for windows - freshmeat.com - this is for linux - not suitable.
AdWords - useless here to - i have no such budget as microsoft and google - but my software is better to search files, as i think it is better than others.
So you advice is useless, sorry :(

I didn't delete your reference. I don't know who did, maybe our spam filter did.

The topic is useful for all that is why I suggested freshmeat.net or AdWords. You may not have the budget for AdWords but others could have lots more money. Also, there are over 8000 projects on freshmeat that are for Windows, it is not just for Linux, so it is suitable. There are other sites like freshmeat where you can promote your software, sorceforge and codeplex are also good places, additionally you can post to a news group to get some attention for your project.

So next time before you rush to conclusions about how useless my (or anyone's) advice is, why don't you try doing a bit more research first.

Nevermind, could somebody suggest more places?
For RedSon - I do some research but I do not see a good way howto boost the program. Posting on forums seems to time consuming - but it is seems this is only one way to boost the program worldwide. As I think the my program is a best one, but I single programer - I try to compite with "big gays" ;)

news group from google seems absolutely useless, no moderation, too much people want to post were, sometimes it is possible to see even xxx links were...
