The most traditional way to do this, is to work for an existing software company, learn the ropes, and then start your own company and steal their business. Or, realize gaps in their business or other businesses, and fill those gaps with your own company's work.

If you want to start your own company without any of this pre-existing knowledge, I hope you are a good talker.

The only other thing that you would be able to do is to take on a partner with this kind of inside knowledge, and possibly customers. When your starting a business like this, it isn't always the most ethical of choices to steal customers but one thing I did with my old boss was to divert incoming customers the last couple of months that we stayed with the business we worked for. We told the incoming customer what we could do for them and how much we would charge and all that stuff and let the customer decide what they wanted. Starting with a small customer base does help to ensure that you will be generating some type of income from the start, even if it only is a smaller amount.

Hey, dont do that because as you said that you are new to this field. So, let you first join any software company.....
Learn the rules, regulations, policies and in short "The basic Idea" about all this. So that your chance of failure would be minimum.....

        All the Best

          Hi,
I suggest you better get some experience by working for a company. I believe its really very important to have an insight of this business. I have a tough experience about this.

          Good luck
