Copy protected and Restriced software requiring CD in drive

"How do I produce CDs with software so that people have difficulty coping in and the CD must remain in the drive while program running..."

It must be dable as I have purchased software that obviously uses this technique...

That is a problem that has been plaguing people for years, and there have been various implementations of it. What were you thinking to start with?
