    How can I backup my Entire system with its database?

    For Example yopu made an enrollment system for your school, but the problem is that how can you entirely back your system ?
    Can you elaborate your backup plan?
    (Backup Recovery Plan). . .

    Any suggestions or comments are appreciated .

    That depends on which DBMS you're using, which OS you're using, and whether you want to back up the DBMS, the OS, or both.

      I just want to backup the enrollment system that I made, This system is LAN based System, how can I backup the entire enrollment system? . . . My idea n how to backup the entire enrollment system is just save that system to client server since it is in LAN based, , , and also I can save the entire system to external hard drive, or up-load it to the internet, can you suggest some way on how to backup this enrollment system ?

            Yes, you've said that three times already. What you need to do still depends on which DBMS you're using, which OS you're using, and whether you want to back up the DBMS, the OS, or both.

              Exequiel, the operating system is usually either Windows or Linux, and databases are usually MySQL, M$SQL, Oracle, PostGRESQL, etc... These have their own backup functions, but as Rabbit has noted, if you're looking to back up a database you need to use that specific databases' backup method as the OS backup features will not capture the database files correctly.

              So, as Rabbit said, we need to know what DBMS you're using, which OS you're using, and if you want to back up one or both of them?
