Hello,
I asked a simular question a few days ago but it wasnt worded very well.
Im wondering how I can use PNG files that have transparent backgrounds in a wx.bitmapbutton control. More specifically how to get them to load into the control and keep their transparent background.
I have been able to load them into a wx.bitmapbutton , but they appear to have a background. Im not sure if this is part of the background from the wx.bitmapbutton itself or if it cannot load the alpha channel from the png.
I checked my PNG's in a pygame tutorial and they work as alpha layer images in pygame. So I ruled out the png files as being the source of the problem. Which leads me back to the wx.bitmapbutton contol itself or is it something in boa constructor, the program that im using, idk...
Any help is much appreciated I will check back regularly for updates.
Thank you for your time,
Jon
