finding missing integer in an unsorted list

You are given an unsorted list of n−1 distinct integers from the range 1 to n. Write a python program to find the missing integer.

I just began learning python language so am finding it difficult. can you help me solve it

It seems that there would be several approaches. What method are you thinking of trying? Even in pseudocode or plain english?
