selecting link to another page

    selecting link to another page

    Hi

    While writing python script using pamie tool i got this problem. In a webpage if we have more than one link(with the same name) to another page than how we can identify the link we wanted to open.

    identify it with the url instead of the name of the link,

      If we click on any link also it will navigate to the same page but different content in the page. so the URL will be same to all the links.

        So you have two identical urls that points to different pages? Then it could be that you need to examine session variables, cookies and post parameters. Do you have an example of two urls, that are identical but when one clicks on one, it opens a different page?

          Yes. we have identical urls. For example we will be in the form called Member which contains many members,the url for this is http://localhost/amsweb/frmMember.aspx, here we can view member details by selecting the link called 'select'.
          If we click on the link 'select' it will navigate us to member details form the url for this form is http://localhost/amsweb/frmMemberDetail s.aspx. If we have hundred members also for all the members link and url will be same.
