Troubles with python installation

I can't find an installer for python 2.5 where all I have to do is press "install".
...I guess that's all there is to it.

There probably wouldn't be one, at least not for Windows (for *nix, the package manager would handle everything). Python installations would have some configuration to do in terms of installation point and customizing a few components.
