    Experiences with libical Python bindings?

    I searched the c.l.p archive and didn't find any postings
    mentioning libical newer than 2002.

    Does that mean it's well documented and "just works", or that
    nobody is using it?

      It looks like the pure-python iCalendar package is a better
      option.
