    Scheduling a daily event

    How can i schedule an event to run daily at a certain time? is there a way to set it in advance?

    Actually chapter 6.12 in the 2.4.4 manuals.

      Sorry, i should have been more precise - The problem is with making the event repeat at REGULAR INTERVALS, i.e every day, every week etc...

        It's easy to start a recurring python sched function, but difficult to stop.

        Here is a multi-threaded example.

        NOTE TO BVDet: ASPN turns out to be (in my view) a permissible link. Please feel free to refer to their cookbook solutions.

          Which OS are you on? If it's a *nix, that's easy using cron. See man cron.
