Adding image in the background

Looks like it can be done if your platform is GDK+:

wxWindow::SetBa ckgroundStyle
virtual void SetBackgroundSt yle(wxBackgroun dStyle style)

Sets the background style of the window. The background style indicates whether background colour should be determined by the system (wxBG_STYLE_SYS TEM), be set to a specific colour (wxBG_STYLE_COL OUR), or should be left to the application to implement (wxBG_STYLE_CUS TOM).

On GTK+, use of wxBG_STYLE_CUST OM allows the flicker-free drawing of a custom background, such as a tiled bitmap. Currently the style has no effect on other platforms.
