Mailman attachments on archive

Hi.

How can I keep the attachments on mailman archive with friendly
links, and without changing the file extension?
Now messages look like this:

Type: application/vnd.ms-project

There is no hyperlink to the URL and the path is invalid.

Any suggestions that doesn't require rewriting the code (I'm using a
host service).
