    PythonService crapping out

this is happening on builds as early as 2.3.1

    "
    C:\Python23\Lib \site-packages\win32> PythonService.e xe /register
    Registering the Python Service Manager...
Fatal Python error: PyThreadState_G et: no current thread

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
    way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
    "

    Any fix on the horizon?

    thanks.
