Zope experts needed for help

Hi,
I'm working on a Zope application.Thi s applicaion uses the MaxDB database as
main database.
To optimize the access in reading ,what is the best choice between these two
?
1/ using mysql as front-end database
2/ using the zope ZODB as front-end database
