SetBackgroundColor doesn't work for me

Hi,
I'm on Linux Ubuntu Breezy with wxPython 2.6.1 and Python 2.4.1
installed.
I've made an app, but the BackgroundColor s won't work on any of my
ListBoxes, they only work with Windows XP. Does someone had this
problem before ? Any suggestion ?
