open_basedir problem

HI

I am getting the followin error - but I really do not understand why:

Warning: dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File
(/srv/www/htdocs/user999/html) is not within the allowed path(s):

/srv/www/htdocs/user999/html/php/script/admin/index.php on line 968

not permitted in /srv/www/htdocs/web592/html/php/script/admin/index.php on
line 968

When you look closely: the path I am trying to access is
/srv/www/htdocs/user999/html
but this path is also set in the open_basedir - the first entry - why the
error????
