I'm based in USA and need recommendations of USA e-commerce merchant account
providers. We have looked at PayPal which seems quite comprehensive.
Before we commit, I would like to know from this group if there are better
solutions. If you have had a good (or bad) experience with a merchant
account provider, please share. Also, what are the going rates for
transaction fees. I'm seeing a lot of 2.5% and up, but many organizations
seem willing to negotiate the rate or drop the annual fees (Paypal has no
recurring fees, but its starting rate is 2.9%).
