Decent PHP Virtual Server Host

Hey gang,

I'm currently using startlogic.com for my PHP/MySQL virtual server. At
$20, it's hard to beat the price. Unfortunately, I'm getting more and
more dissatisfied with their uptime.

I need PHP, MySQL, and the ability to host multiple domains.

Are there any other hosts y'all have had good or bad experiences with?

We've had perfect uptime since we leased a dedicated server 2 years ago, with
_excellent_ tech support. Looks like basic virt hosting starts at $18 / mo.

Check the uptime for any provider you're considering at www.netcraft.com

(And no, I don't work for them or get paid for plugs. Just a happy customer!)

Best host I've ever had. Only *very*-minimal downtime since I've
been using them (1 year) - they advertise 99.95% uptime.
unlimited hosting (actually 999 domains/subdoms/dbs etc, but thats
close enough for me) starts at $36 (US) per year.

Hi,

We have a great provider in the Netherlands, called XS4ALL.

I have been hosting many sites over there, and cannot remember any downtime
ever.
Their speciality is FreeBSD (similar to GNU/Linux, but not the same), and
they offer a good secure heavily tested machinery.
I love them. :-)
