Changing a date in a script

Hey folks, i am in the process of creating a page that shows info from an older software version. The script puts out a date and views as day/month/2007 but would like to show day/month/2011. Any options out there? Changing the software is not an option..

take the date from the old software and add 4 years? but unless you show us the code, it’s hard to give any concrete help.

Sorry. Basicly it puts out a date in 07 and when the db uploads it shows 07. Can that be changed is my question. Can you trick it to show 2011? I have no code to show.
