How to implement live streaming?

I want to develop a site in which I want to show live streaming,but I don't know how to implement it.Please tell me how to implement live streaming on my web site?

You need to use a video player. Then you would get the address of the stream and pass that to the player.

An example of a video player would be flowplayer though there are many others out there.
