How to integrate another tools with php?

hi all,
I want to give a file as input to some other tool from the browser. For example, when I give a text document that should be taken as the input to a particular tool. How to do this?

your example is not clear enough to understand your need..

You can help us by giving a better example. Specially when you say to a particular tool it does not ring a bell.

But as example :

If you want to display a Excel file in your website such a way that your web site can display it in the proper form, then it is possible.
