my website recently moved to godaddy, and im hosting the db on a linux box. my problem, you cant login to the site. when you sign up as a new user, you keep getting redirected to the login page. On the db side, you can see the new user information. my question, does anyone know if godaddy needs to be tweaked to accept permissions from the db?

No, the issue is probably something else. You must debug your code to find out what it is.
What troubleshooting have you done? If you're not the programmer, perhaps the original coder can go over it.

Does the site use the same domain name it used to?
Are you setting any cookies?
Could it be that you are specifying the old domain in the setcookie function, thus making them invalid on the new domain?
If you are unsure, try downloading the Web Developer addon for Firefox. It has tools that allow you to monitor and/or manage cookies. (Amongst other very useful things.)Comment
