parked domain

Hello,

I am running a website and have a domain on it, now can i purchase another domain on the same hosting plan, is this what we call parked domain, also please tell me that can we use that second domain as complete different website, and can we purchase that second domain from other company than the first one

Hey Shubby,
Yes you can.
In matther fact, i know somebody who has registered a domain at x-company and i bought the webspace on y-hosting company.
The thing that you have to do is edit the dns settings for it.
If it is parked, you only have the domain name, but no webspace (probaly).

yes, it is a parked domain, now what i did i took the domain along with space on y hosting company and now i want to regsiter only domain to x company and i want that domain of x company as parked one, please tell me if it is what you said,

Well, if i understand it correct you want to move everything. Domain and space.
At the other (new) host you can request a movement. Check there site, or log in and somewhere you find how to move your domain and/or space to the new hosting company. It's realy simple and in most cases they wouldn't ask money for it. Only the period for which the domain is active ( only the webspace, when you registered it).
