    Free Form Mail

    Hi guys,

A while ago I set up a free form mail program on a friend's server. It went quite well. I used Tectite's free wizard, filled out the stuff on their website and then downloaded the file and all was good.

They charge for it now... ugh. Does anyone know of a good site like Tectite that is still completely free? I tried downloading the free file - a blank template.... YIKES. I'm no pro at this... that much code scares me. I tried going through it but there is just way too much that I don't understand.

I searched google for free php form mail programs, and i got lots of hits, but I don't know which ones, if any, are total bogus. Any help is appreciated! I'm trying to get http://customcomps.pigasus.com looking more professional and I think being able to submit a form will help a lot.

    David

    PS,
    It's a linux server

Care to share the wealth, in case others have the same problem?

i doubt it's free. i just emailed him and he said he had an excellent one already on the server that he lets me use. i hadn't thought of asking him until i did because last time it wasn't an option. i wasn't using one of his servers.

good news! turns out, the formmail he uses IS free... i'm using:

          NMS FormMail Version 3.14c1

copied and pasted straight from document. a quick google search will give you the website to download it.

right now my site is looking much better. check out the link on the left called "Test Form" (use url found in my first post).
