Hello
>
I am PHP developer .Let me know if you have any contract base php jobs.
It's full of developers here, it's the worst place where to search for job!
Search in job related newsgroups, on craiglist, on google base, monster,
adecco, manpower, and so on.
Or eventually search on websites for freelancers but don't expect to gain
alot of money expecially without references :).

What Manuel doesn't tell you is it's his own site and generally not
worth a damn. It actually has very few jobs on it.
Thank you for the recognition. ;-)
I don't know what is very few jobs in your conception, but since it was
started 3 months ago, over 100 jobs were posted. Just today, 5 new jobs
were posted.
Since you have never posted a job in the site, your claim that is "not
worth a damn" does not seem to be based on a real experience.
The truth is that so far over 3,200 PHP professionals world wide have
signed up to be notified when new jobs are posted. When a new job that
matches each of those professionals skills is posted, they receive an
e-mail, so they can evaluate the job and apply if it is interesting.
Some jobs are more interesting than others, but I have already seen jobs
with hundreds of candidate applications.
This is a PHP specific job board. Companies posting jobs companies can
restrict the requirements on the PHP specific skills they demand so the
site only allows applications of professionals that match the skills.
For instance, you can restrict job applications to PHP professionals
with Zend certification, have N years of experience of some PHP
framework, or database, etc..
This helps posters not getting buried with applications from people
without the necessary PHP related skills.
Still, you do not need to post a jobs to find skilled developers. Just
use this PHP professionals search to find people with PHP specific
skills in so far 137 countries world wide.
This job board was not meant to compete with other more generic job
boards. It was rather meant to bring together companies looking for
professionals with PHP specific skills.
This site has now over 660.000 PHP developers that have subscribed to
the site. It is visited by about 20.000 unique PHP developers a day.
Posting a job in this site gets a company plenty of the attention at a
fraction of the cost that you would pay in more traditional site.

ROFLMAO! monster.com, freelancers.com and others get more than that
EVERY DAY.
Sure, that is why it costs a small fortune to post jobs there. If you
look at monster US site, you can see that it costs $335 just to post a
job there.

No, and I will never post a job on it because it isn't worth anything.
The point you have never tried it and you are only making assumptions
based on nothing.

What does that matter for companies that just want to post PHP jobs?

So what? The other sites have job sections for PHP.
That is different. A company looking for candidates with PHP specific
skills, may search this job board asking for those skills.
For instance a company looking for a PHP professional with Zend
certification and with at least 6 months of experience with Zend
framework, it can just click on a few options in the search form and
find it in a page like this:
>This helps posters not getting buried with applications from people

ROFLMAO. None of that indicates they have "the necessary PHP related
skills". Only that they claim a certain amount of time and/or can pass
a test.
No job site guarantees that the candidates have the skills they claim.
On the other hand most candidates will only waste their time lying about
their qualifications because most employers will verify them somehow
before hiring.

Whoopee! And you claim 20K unique PHP developers a day? You must know
something that no one else on the internet knows - how to tell who is at
the other end of the link! Including what their qualifications are, and
even that they are different people.
I know how the site works because I built it. Since you could not know
that, I explain to you. Other than being accounted by Google Analytics
and SiteMeter, for many things that the users want to do, the site
requires that they be logged in. No user may be logged in the same
account more than once. So, I know how many real users come to the site.
I have no purpose in lying because anybody can use sites like Alexa and
Compete and compare with other sites they know the audience to see if
the numbers could be so much different than I am telling. Other than
that the site has a public statistics page that is updated automatically
every day by the site itself.

surprised it even works.
Or did you get a real programmer to write it for you?

And I see you don't have any response to what I said - because I'm
