    API key what is this?

    hello

    I am doing resume parsing using php, from the candidate resume i need to extract personal information i.e name, address, emailid and phoneno.

    Currently i can able extract email id and phoneno, but i can't able to get the candidate's name. While googling i got some resume parsing API source code which is written in php
    (http://supportforums.bullhorn.com/vi...4e62d960d87eda) and downloaded and tested on my machine.

    After running that script i am getting the following error

    "Couldn't parse your resume. I'm sorry. ( Error: Invalid encryptedAPIKey ) "'

    Starting of this script it's asking flowing values

    $PRIVATE_LABEL_ ID = "Your Label ID";
    $API_KEY = "Your API key";

    Please let me know what is this error for this what i have to do, and form where i will get this API key and also please check the below url

    Hi.

    I'm guessing this API key is something you get from the creators of the product you are using. Try contacting their support and ask them about this.

      hello Atli

      Can you give me some solution regarding this resume parsing, do you have any idea for extracting candidate's name from resume.We can fetch easily email id and phone no, where as name is the problem, because it will be treated as a common string there is no unique identity for name.

      For this extraction i am using regular expression in php. Do u know any technology that will meet our requirement.

      thanks

        Depends on the format of the resume.
        You would just have to create a regular expression that fits the format.

        Even tho the name is a string, you should be able to get it by matching the surrounding characters. Like, for example, a leading "Name: " string and a closing newline char.
