Hi,

Do you have a background in development of any kind? I came to PHP having spent 5+ years developing desktop aps.

the manual is really useful, and a great tip, but the thing that really got me started was the W3Schools tutorial.

After that I just asked lots of questions on this forum and read lots of other peoples questions and the articles.
