    Good web-hosting for cakePHP

    Hello All:

After having some experience with PHP, I am thinking to use one of the
frameworks for my website. CakePHP looks promising (among others). Cake
requires some .htacess settings and I was unsure if godaddy will provide
    that flexibility.

Can anyone recommend me about good website hosting companies which
support cakePHP out of the box? I found bluehost and inmotion as
promising candidates (using Google), but any feedback from users here
    will be great.

    Thanks,
    Animesh

Try http://www.webhostingtalk.com. You can get all kinds of suggestions
on webhosting there, as well as search for comments on specific hosts
    (good or bad).

I just started using Symfony for a project. I'm curious how you decided
on Cake, as opposed to any of the other frameworks. What do you like about?

I reviewed on google, and most people had good things to say about Zend,
        Cake, Symfony, and CodeIgnitor.

I just picked cakePHP since I want to use OOPS concepts to design my
future websites (and possibly upgrade my current one). In that sense, my
selection is arbitrary. Do you think there is a reason to stick to other
        frameworks?
