What Is LAMP technology ?

I know mysql and php . What things i should know in linux and Apache so that i can write in my resume that i can work on LAMP technology ?

Well... obviously, you will have to know how to use Apache on Linux. As well as MySQL and PHP. (And even Pear, Perl, Python and Ruby).

The ability to set up Linux with all of the above would probably be required, and the details about how to successfully manage the individual components.

And so not to be tied to a single Linux distro, the ability to build each component from it's source code would be good to.

Working on linux environment...b ecause most of company prefer the LAMP because it is open source.so first install the linux on ur machine then install the php and mysql the advantage of the LAMP u can handle the easily ur script as well as apache server.
