is not stable on your configuration under linux, it's not installed
right. I doubt installing it on Windows will improve your situation.
Typically going from stable and solid to flaky and buggy does not
improve your environment.

No, it will be as unstable as the windows server is, which is about 100
times less stable than Linux.
Leave windows where it works, as a desktop. Use linux as a server, which
its far far better at.

I'm running Apache and PHP on XP Pro here and it's solid as a rock. It's
probably Windows itself you need to worry about.

misses a beat. On Linux. Only get rebooted if the power fails.

Ive got apache2 and php5 running on two public websites here. NeverLOL, and nothing more than a quality UPS will solve that! :-)misses a beat. On Linux. Only get rebooted if the power fails.
