How to convert your URL?

Please help me! Did anyone know how to convert URL?

My website have some URL like this:

"http://mydomain.com/viewsub.php?art ist=Asterik&sub =214"...

and I would like to convert it to:

"http://mydomain.com/Asterik/submission/214"

Is there anyone who know this, please help me!

If you need a PHP solution for this, try Horst Nogajski's
HN URL Rewrite class.

if your web server is Apache try mod_rewrite.
