    hi...
    i have one big doubt.
    1. XAMPP installation is better or Manual install is better for PHP, MySQL & Apache???
    2. May i know benefits and faults of both type of installation.
    3. XAMPP is secure or not?
    4. Which one is more secure???

You can always tune a manual installation to suit your exact needs.

Well you'll ideally use Apache or IIS, not both. If it is going to go on a windows box, test it out first on your workstation.

                  Installation of XAMPP

Hi friends, I would recommend that you go for manual installation of PHP, MySQL and Apache or you can also go for WAMP as I personally found XAMPP to be more complicated to use than the others.
You can find the installation procedure of Apache Here
You can find the installation procedure of PHP Here
You can find the installation procedure of MySQL here

Manual installation isn't better, but neither is a bundled installation. The only difference is the time that you can set different settings. Either way, for most non-standard things you will need to edit the ini files after the installation is complete.

The only time that this isn't true is when installing PHP. When installing it manually you can install packages and libraries that you could not simply enable later on. But even then, these packages are not standard because they are rarely used.

If not manual installation than you can also try for the automated installation using WAMP Server
Check out the installation details and procedure here
