download dialog box

Dear Sir,

I have a project in which I can upload files and list those files. There is two options. One is to view the pdf files and one is to download the pdf files. But when I click on both options, it takes me only to view the file.

1. How can I do this so that user can get download dialog box by clicking on download option?

2. And second is how can I create zip for any file (i.e., word, excel, pdf etc.)

Please help me......I really need it.
