i put php_printer.dll in extension but notthing happen.it did not connect the printer any one can help me for that. i have php 4.0.3

Look at the php manual, which says:
You have PHP 4.0.3!CXXVII. Printer Functions
Introduction
These functions are only available under Windows 9.x, ME, NT4 and 2000. They have been added in PHP 4.0.4.
