    Mail() not working

    I've used mail() before and I tested my code on another server, it's not my code, it's my server. Once again I figured this would be automatically configured since it has plenty of default settings. I'm running Apache 2.0.59 with PHP 5.2.1, the only configuration change I've done is remove the comments in front of all the extensions in the php.ini file.

    What error messages do you get? What operating system are you running on? Do you have sendmail or another mail server running? Are you able send mail using an SMTP client other than PHP?

      I get no error msgs, just no e-mail. I'm off of Windows XP. I don't have any other mailing system/server and haven't tested anything, I don't know how.

        Why don't you post your mail script and your SMTP setting that you have already configured.

            You will need to have an SMTP server running on your machine in order to utilize the PHP mail() function. Free SMTP Server has been recommended in other threads, and it is a good choice for debugging SMTP problems.
