time based emails?

Hi,
I wanna write a script that will automatically send users an email on the first of the month (or something like that). Can this be done with just php? I could use anything else, doesn't really matter, it's just that my site is already done in php.

Hi.

PHP is capible of sending emails without much trouble.
Tho you will need something to trigger your code, no code will just run on its own.
