PHP Scripting

I was just told by Yahoo that I would need to learn PHP scripting in order to finish setting up my website.

Could anyone suggest the best (i.e., fastest and easiest) way to learn PHP???

This is my first effort at setting up domains, websites, etc., so please be gentle.
