Compiling php5 with mysqli support

I tryed to compile php5 (a dev snapshot)
--with-mysqli=/usr/local/bin/mysql_config

The configuration works just fine but the compilation crash near
zif_mysqli_stmt _num_rows. Anyone experienced this problem? Anyone got it
to compile?
