need your help
trying to write a report in crystal report writer and i have the following columns
B S AVER.COST 1 2 3
1000 3000 99.50 x y z
column 1 formula ( if S THEN -z times 3000 else 1000 times 99.50
column 2 formula is a running total
column 3 formula y divided by cumulative balance( is the net position ie buys less sales )
it works in excel with iteration
but in crystal i can not do it
how do you solve this problem in having coumn 2 ie y calculated first and then the answer to be used to calculate column 3 ie z
