MD5 Length

Changing MD5 Lenght:

$security = md5("a");

it's length is 32.

Now How can i do that:

It's length will be 7?

You can't

MD5 is always this length. If you want a shorter encription use a simpler version
but I do not recomed this for securety reasons

You can take the first 7 characters of the string with echo substr(md5($str ing), 0, 7);
