ok guys newbie here and got a headache

downloaded PHPBB forums scripture and i have just started using (in a fashion )) Dreamweaver mx 2004 how in darnation do I get it to all work

I have so far unzipped files and run it in dreamweaver but nada nothing ZIP

I can edit the scrip should I want to (no idea why I would at this point ))

as I said im new as in just born into this exciting world of web development (trying to learn new Career present job sucks)) and I just love being creative so hence now pestering you all ((sorry for that )) any help usefull until im fully teethed, you see I have been given a project ie develope a web site with forums joining page etc.......... *bangs head on table to help the stress** :o

I expect Dreamweaver runs it's HTML in the same way any browser would if it was loaded directly.

However to run PHPBB (or in fact any PHP) you need a web server running with PHP and MySQL installed and running as well.

This is too hard to set-up (although it is not an absolute walk in the park), find and download WAMP (for Windows) or LAMP (for Linux) to get Apache, MySQL and PHP for the relevent platforms, then you will be able to run and develop phpBB at home.
