We are trying to download Information from a web page and open a program on
the other end to process the information. This seems trivial (my bank does
this quite well) but has been a bear to figure out. I am sending the
correct headers but cannot get IE to reliably recognize and open/process the
file through my application. The filename sometimes has the correct
extension and sometimes it puts php as the extension. We have changed
sessions on/off, changed session header settings, and everything I can think
of. Is anyone else doing this feature and HOW?
